Undrdog Pro is a pro-grade, single layer coating solution based on Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), Silicon and Paraffin. PTFE might sound like Undrdog Pro is an 80’s style coating, but saying that would not give it justice. PTFE has gone through many changes and updates since its introduction - making it better, cleaner and stronger.
Each one of these three main ingredients are incredibly resistant to chemicals, UV rays from the Sun, oxidizers, external contaminants, heat and water spots (something ceramic coatings have trouble contending with). However, combined together in Undrdog Pro, these three ingredients create the trifecta of awesomeness: durability, performance and value.

Undrdog is not in the market of selling buzz. They sell super efficient, affordable surface protection and cleaners. That’s why they decided to depart from the standard set of industry-specific buzzwords like “ceramic”, “graphene”, “titanium” and “nano”. They would even go a step further saying that none of those words mean anything in a protective coating and that these terms are just marketing gimmicks. Haven’t you asked yourself where’s ceramic in a ceramic coating? These are all bold buzzwords that give the illusion of durability - but are ultimately hollow and meaningless. Your coffee mug isn’t made from SiO2, is it? Nope… that’s because your coffee mug and toilet are actually ceramic. Let’s just call things what they are - protective coatings.

Paint enhancement uses specialized tools and polishers to remove imperfections such as swirls, scratches from automatic car washes, water spots, etched bird droppings, holograms caused by poor washing techniques, and other types of imperfections from the vehicle's finish leaving a smooth, mirror-like surface.

Do I really need the coating?
Yes, you do need it. It will reduce your maintenance by at least 50% and protect your vehicle from incidents that occur through day to day driving like bird droppings, bug accumulation, acid rain and other things of that nature. A coating adds a layer of protection between your car and the elements. 

Is Undrdog Pro like a ceramic coating? 
Yes, it's similar: it beads water, it is glossy, offers protection from the elements. However, as we listen to the market and adapt to fix the most critical pain points, we made it way easier to install, which in turn makes it more affordable for both the installer and you. 

How long does it take for coating to be applied? 
Usually the turnaround time is about 2.5 to 3 hours, but it could take as long as 4 hours, depending on how big your vehicle is and what your demands are. 

Can Undrdog Pro be applied to my interior? 
Yes it can. Undrdog Pro protects well all surfaces including leather, plastics, metal and glass. This is an additional service to discuss with your detailer. 

How often do I have to reapply this coating? 
This is totally dependent on the wear and tear that your vehicle experiences and how well you take care of it. Most users see multiple years before needing to reapply, but again it is completely dependent on aftercare. 

How long will my car be protected? 
The coating will last for multiple years, depending on how you take care of the vehicle. The best way to do that is to bucket wash it once a week. If you can’t bucket wash it, use a touchless drive-through car wash, and if neither of those two are an option for you, then a contact drive-through car wash is also ok, just expect a reduction in the coating’s longevity. 

Is there a specific maintenance that I need to keep doing or is it just set-it-and-forget-it?
It can definitely be a set-it-and-forget it, however to get the maximum performance and longevity, the following is recommended: 

1) Regular car washes with our Soap. 

2) Regular usage of our Quick Detail, a product that can add some slickness and hydrophobicity for those looking to get the most out of their coating. 

What happens if my coating gets damaged? 
You can take it back to the Liquid Auto Spa and get another layer applied. 

What is decontamination?
Paint decontamination is basically a deep cleaning process where we use a series of chemicals and clays to remove any embedded metals or contaminants that have worked their way into the paint through the manufacturing or the shipping process, or just from day to day driving. 

Can we do this without decontamination? 
You can, but it’ll last a lot longer if it is decontaminated. We also advise against coating over any existing contaminants, as it can interfere with the coating's bond to the paint. 

What is the coating being used and can I choose a different one? 
We only sell one coating for cars and that is Undrdog Pro, which is the best bang for your buck. Being easy to apply, it makes it affordable for the installer which, in turn, makes it affordable for you. 

Does the $699 cover trucks and SUVs?
The $699 covers vehicles and mid-sized SUVs. Large trucks and SUVs are priced at $899.
 
Are they coating windows, chromes and plastic? 
Typically yes, but that will includes all paint and trimmings, but wheels left to the Liquid Auto Spa discretion. 

What if I want my paint corrected? 
That is definitely something you can discuss with Liquid Auto Spa at the time of booking. Typically, you’ll either get one of these two packages:  

1) 1 Step Paint enhancement, which will add a lot of gloss and remove 50%-75% of swirls, marring, light scratches, & oxidation, but it will not remove every single scratch.  

2) 2 Step Paint Correction package to remove 75-90% of swirls, marring, scratches, & oxidation.
